From the Jerusalem Post, warm praise for Judge Sotomayor. She has longstanding connections with groups like the National Council of Jewish Women, and has made some rulings that pleased the Orthodox Union. And it doesn’t hurt that she’s a New Yorker.

Recurring Nightmare 
The National Council of Jewish Women are a bunch of meddling “yentas”(busybodies) and that alone is reason for me to mistrust her.
I really dislike groups and “leaders”claiming to “represent”various demographics.
I certainly don’t want a whining pisspot like Abe Foxman thinking he can speak for me.

Whoa! The NCJW gave a venue for the Coalition Against Human Trafficking the first year and I was very grateful for their sponsorship. They were not involved the second year, and missing their input was one reason I left.
I felt safer with them than with some Christian groups, because they seem more reality-based.
