I’m at my doctor’s office and Rachael Ray is on the TV frying something that looks like Spam. Then there’s a closeup of Bill O’Reilly and the voiceover says…
“He’s been called everything from a bully to a big mouth [this qualifies as ‘range’ on Fox] the most controversial man on television is coming to Rachael Ray.”
Rachael, I don’t really believe you are evil, no matter what that snotty, broccoli-chopping chef says. I feel protective of you. So I want to give you a heads up.
Controversy makes good TV, but watch out for those FCC rules. Use a 5-second delay, and if Bill O’Reilly asks you to make Felafel pull the plug quick. Better safe than sorry.

You know, Fox News and their political arm, the Republican party, don’t even bother spinning the news any more.
They just flat make stuff up.
Like, lying.
The latest? Judd Gregg (who, however briefly, accepted Obama’s invitation to become Sec of…Commerce[?]), has now said that Obama is going to impose a “Light Switch Tax.”
What the hey?
Michelle Bachmann is proposing constitutional amendments to prevent the US from using a world currency, which no one is proposing. She misunderstood the Chinese who proposed that the world should consider a different reserve currency.
But the big one, is they’re STILL saying that tax cuts raise gov’t revenue. That is just flat WRONG. Anyone who says different is either WRONG or LYING. We have ample empirical evidence refuting this notion, but Repubs still spew this nonsense and Fox News reports it as actual news.
Besides, if you annoy Billy Boy, he sends out stalkers. A blogger–in her blog–objected to his speaking at a Rape Crisis convention, so Bully Billy sent people to track her down, follow her home, and harrass her.
The whole crew at Fox is a disgrace. They’re dangerous to the health of our country. And they’re getting worse.
